The Vehicle Miami Group Trips Are Built On
The Huracan Spyder gets the stares on Ocean Drive. The Escalade gets the job done. Ask anyone who has planned group travel in Miami, a bachelor crew of six, a family flying into MIA, a wedding party moving between venues, and the first vehicle they book is almost always the Cadillac Escalade.
Seven seats. A 6.2L V8. Cargo space for six large suitcases. A $499 per day rate that makes it the most affordable vehicle in our fleet, tied only with the Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet. And a $1,000 security deposit, among the lowest in the fleet, which matters when the same card is also covering hotels and dinners.
This is the honest guide to renting an Escalade in Miami: real prices, real discount math, and who it is actually built for. For anything the Escalade cannot do, the luxury SUV comparison covers all nine SUVs in the fleet.
Cadillac Escalade Rental Prices in Miami
The posted rates, straight from the fleet page:
- Daily rate: $499 per day
- Weekend rate: $499 per day
- Weekly rate: $499 per day
- Security deposit: $1,000 authorization hold, fully refundable
- Mileage: 100 miles per day included
- Seats: 7
- Luggage: 6 large suitcases
Then the automatic discounts do the work. Every vehicle in the fleet gets 10% off rentals of 7 or more days and 15% off rentals of 14 or more days, no promo code, no blackout dates. The terms are on the promo page. On the Escalade, the math looks like this:
- 7 days: $3,493 minus 10% is $3,143.70, or about $449 per day
- 14 days: $6,986 minus 15% is $5,938.10, or about $424 per day
Split seven ways at the base rate, a day in the Escalade costs about $71 per person. No other seven seat luxury vehicle in Miami gets close to that. For the full pricing picture across every class, see our Miami exotic car rental prices guide, and for how the weekly discounts work on every vehicle, the weekly discount guide.
What You Get for the Money
The Escalade in the fleet is a 2024 model:
- Engine: 6.2L V8
- Horsepower: 420 hp
- 0 to 60 mph: 5.8 seconds
- Drivetrain: All wheel drive
- Transmission: Automatic
- Seats: 7 across three rows
- Cargo: Space for six large suitcases behind the second row
Every rental includes pickup at our Miami location with the vehicle detailed, fueled, and inspected, 100 miles per day, and 24/7 roadside assistance. It is not a supercar and does not pretend to be one. It is a full size American luxury SUV that swallows a crew, their luggage, and a weekend of plans without breaking a sweat.
Who Actually Books the Escalade
Airport Crews
Flying into MIA with five or six people and their bags is the exact problem the Escalade solves. One vehicle instead of two rideshares, everyone together from the terminal to the hotel, and cargo space means nobody plays suitcase Tetris at the curb. Arrival day logistics, including how pickup and delivery work, are covered in our airport pickup guide.
Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties
The smartest setup we see is the two car play: an Escalade for the crew plus a Huracan EVO Spyder for the groom and best man. Group logistics solved, hero photos solved, and the Escalade at $499 costs a third of what a second supercar would. The bachelor party guide prices out the full setup.
Families on Vacation
Miami with kids means car seats, beach gear, strollers, and a cooler, and the Escalade swallows all of it while keeping everyone in one vehicle. The all wheel drive handles summer downpours without a thought, which convertibles cannot say. For picking the right car for the whole trip, our Miami vacation rental guide compares the options.
Wedding Parties
While the couple takes the Cullinan or the Bentayga, the bridal party rides in the Escalade. It seats seven, holds the emergency kit, the garment bags, and the flowers, and it looks right pulling up to the venue. The wedding guide covers the multi vehicle setups.
Long Stays
The Escalade is the best value in the fleet for a week or more. Fourteen days lands near $424 per day with the automatic 15% discount, which is why snowbirds and remote workers book it for month long stretches. The monthly rental guide covers the long stay picture.
Escalade vs the Other Group SUVs
How the Escalade stacks up against the vehicles groups actually cross shop:
- vs Lamborghini Urus ($999 per day): The Urus is a supercar that seats five, 0 to 60 in 3.6 seconds. The Escalade costs $500 less per day, seats seven, and hauls twice the luggage. Choose the Urus for the drive and the badge. Choose the Escalade for the crew.
- vs Mercedes-AMG G63 ($995 per day): The G63 is the most photographed SUV in Miami. The Escalade is the one that fits everybody and their bags. See the G63 guide for that side of the trade.
- vs Range Rover Sport SVR ($599 per day): The SVR is the driver's pick with a supercharged V8, but it seats five. The Escalade seats seven for $100 less.
- vs Rolls-Royce Cullinan ($1,495 per day): The Cullinan is the arrival statement. The Escalade is the utility vehicle that makes the whole day run. Different jobs entirely.
The full nine SUV comparison, including deposits and seat counts, is in the luxury SUV rental guide.
Driving an Escalade in Miami
This is the lowest stress vehicle in the fleet to drive. You sit high with clear sightlines over traffic, every hotel and venue in Miami handles Escalades at valet daily, and the width that makes a Huracan stressful in a South Beach garage is a non issue here.
Two honest planning notes. First, the causeways and Brickell Avenue are where the Escalade is most at home, easy lanes, smooth surface, and the V8 never feels underworked. Second, watch the mileage on Keys trips. Miami to Key Largo is about 60 miles each way, so a round trip eats most of the 100 daily miles. Key West is about 160 miles each way, which means overage on the included mileage, so ask about extra mileage when you book if the Keys are on the itinerary.
Requirements and Booking
The Escalade runs on the standard checklist: a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, a major credit card in your own name, and age 25 or older, with select vehicles available from 21 with additional requirements. Verification typically takes under 30 minutes when your documents are ready. The complete list, including what international visitors need, is in our requirements guide.
Pickup is at our Miami location. Delivery to hotels, residences, and MIA is available by special arrangement across Miami Dade and Broward, which the hotel delivery guide explains.
- Reach out with your dates and headcount. Call or text 438-533-9053 or message us on WhatsApp. Telling us how many people and bags you are moving is usually enough for us to confirm the Escalade on the spot.
- Book early for peak season. December through April, and especially Art Basel and New Year's Eve, group SUVs book out first because crews travel together. The Art Basel guide covers the December crunch.
- Ask about weekly pricing if your trip is 5 days or more. The automatic 10% and 15% discounts usually change the total enough to matter.
- Confirm the day before. A quick text reconfirming your pickup time keeps arrival day clean.
Same day bookings are often possible outside peak weeks. Our same day guide explains how those work, and every way to reach us is in the contact guide.
